Once again taking pictures with the self timer. No one I know lives close enough for me to call and say, 'Hey! Can you help me out a bit?', so this is the best I can do until I get a real shoot scheduled. This "shoot" (for lack of a better term) took place in my living room. I set up my camera on computer desk on the opposite wall, then would run forward, set the timer and press the initializing button. I would then dart back to my futon, fix my hair and clothing, and pose- all in ten seconds. -.- That was sort of exhausting...
I took twenty-nine images with the self timer on my camera and found three that I liked. Two of them are similar poses, but whatever, they came out better than the rest of them. I really need to get out and take some real photos. Also, I tried my hardest not to look at the lens. With Julia being blind it didn't make sense for my eyes to be focused on the camera. All of that effort, and one of the only pictures to come out properly is the one where my eyes are clearly focused. -.-Julia strikes me as a deep sleeper, simply because she's someone who never rests. Be the time she takes a break she's just going to crash... Speaking from experience, I bet she forgets to eat a lot of the time as well.
I painted my eyebrows for these shots, because my black ones would look ridiculous with that hair. My dark hair was slicked back and gelled into place so that it would not show. It seemed silly to use my comb in color for just 45 minutes of picture taking at home. No make-up was used out side of the eyebrows, mainly because it was nearing midnight and I was being lazy.
With the future pictures, I really hope to have locations with better lighting. With better lighting and some make-up to even out the tones, and better lighting, I think everything will come together better. X"D
