News for photos

This has been a great week for cosplay progress, which I was not expecting. Rather, I figured I'd get a few photos but nothing beyond that. Contrary to that belief, my photo shoot on Friday yeilded some spectacular results, and I obtained two new wigs!

One is the brown wig shown here. I was able to easily find something that is pretty much identical to my real hair color. If only my hair was that manageable, I would consider growing it out again.

The other was a bright pink Nicki Minaj wig that Hot Topic had on clearance. While I barley know who she is, the wig itself will be perfect for Utena. I'm rather excited about this, since all of the other pink wigs I've found up to this point were either short bobs or long without bangs. I'll post a picture of the pink one when I have a good one.

As this picture indicates the photo shoot on Thursday went really well! I have another set for Wednesday of this week, so excited! I've decided though to create a separate blog just for photos, and use only this one for the documentation of costume creation, tutorials and whatever else that requires loads of text.
