A Corset for Lulu

Well this sorry photo (my camera refused to focus) shows the progress made on Lulu's corset. The steel boning has been placed in the interior casings, and the featherlight boning in the exterior bias tape. All that remains is to stitch the gray double fold bias tape around the edges and put the eyelets up the back.

Speaking of bias tape, I clearly was not paying attention the other day and purchased two packages of single fold. Well that's exactly what I needed for those lines, but I need double fold for the edges. Duh! But I did not make it to the store today to be able to exchange my unused package of single fold tape for double fold. Until I can get there I'll be working on the skirt and then fur and sleeves. Still, I feel like I'm much closer to being complete than I was. More coming soon!
